When you took a seat in a BMW i8 in 2015, it felt as though you had stepped into a time machine. Suddenly, you found yourself in the distant future of the supercar, in a world that had yet to be fully cultivated. Now, 11 years later, the i8 remains a car that stands out from the crowd. A sports car that points towards years still ahead of us. The production model received a highly distinctive design, featuring a low roofline, upward-opening doors, and a body constructed partly from plastics and reinforced fibre materials.

The power of this hybrid BMW i8 is delivered to the front wheels by an electric motor connected to lithium-ion batteries. Drive to the rear wheels is provided by a 1.5-litre three-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine. Together, they produce a combined system output of approximately 362 hp. This enables the i8 to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.5 seconds. Moreover, these sports car performances are combined with low fuel consumption figures. Depending on the conditions, the i8 can travel up to 37 km purely on electric power. Beyond that, it remains an economical performance car.

BMW was one of the first manufacturers to successfully combine two different powertrains in a spectacular sports car that also delivered genuine supercar performance. The i8 is a pioneer that was carefully and passionately developed to pave the way for plug-in hybrid sports cars. It is a car in which technological innovation, efficiency and performance have been brought together in a remarkably forward-thinking way.

The BMW i8 we are offering on behalf of a client was originally delivered new in Sweden in March 2015. As such, this 2015 BMW i8 belongs to the model's early production period. This was a phase in which the model was already fully established in the market, while still remaining close to the original concept behind its introduction. For enthusiasts, this is important because early examples of the BMW i8 are therefore considered the most desirable.
The car is supplied with Dutch registration and is presented in very neat condition, consistent with its mileage. Naturally, this BMW i8 comes with a digital service history. In addition, the following maintenance and repair visits can be verified through the available original paper invoices:
