For many years, Audi has been building fast and very fast cars under its renowned "S" and "RS" labels. The Audi R8 is widely regarded as the brand's first true supercar. When it was introduced in 2007 (2008 model year), the R8 helped Audi shake off its rather conservative image and proved that the company was capable of building a genuine high-performance sports car. Powered by a wonderful naturally aspirated 4.2-litre V8 engine, the R8 accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.6 seconds and, given the opportunity, is capable of exceeding 300 km/h. Thanks to the aluminium Audi Space Frame construction, the car is relatively lightweight. The mid-mounted engine—beautifully visible beneath a glass cover—provides excellent balance, while Audi's renowned quattro all-wheel-drive system delivers outstanding levels of grip. The Audi R8 is not overly aggressive or intimidating at the limit, making it a truly enjoyable driver's car, even for those new to supercar ownership.

This R8 is equipped with the R-Tronic six-speed automated manual transmission, operated via steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters. While this gearbox is known to have its weak points, the good news is that it was replaced in 2016 following a mechanical failure. The car is further equipped with leather sports seats, climate control and the excellent Bang & Olufsen sound system. This specification perfectly suits the R8's position as a supercar that can also be used on a daily basis: it looks and feels like a true supercar, yet remains comfortable and practical enough for everyday driving.

This Audi R8 quattro was delivered new in Belgium in February 2008. After two Belgian owners, the car became part of a collection owned by an Audi dealer in the Netherlands in April 2013. The R8 has been registered in the Netherlands since 29 May 2018. The car comes with a 45-page file containing all maintenance and repair invoices from 2008 through 2018. This comprehensive documentation clearly shows which work was carried out at which mileage. Numerous invoices from the period after 2018 are also present. The original service booklet contains the following stamps:
