The Alfa Romeo Spider (105/115 series) is a roadster that was built from 1966 to 1993. The Spider is based on the Giulia and was designed by the Italian design agency Pinninfarina.
The first series of Spiders (1966-1969) was simply called the Alfa Romeo Spider 1600. With the introduction of the Alfa Romeo 1750 line in 1968, the Alfa Romeo 1750 Spider Veloce also came onto the market ('Veloce' is Italian for 'fast').
The first major exterior update took place at the end of 1969 with the presentation of the Series 2 (1969-1982/83). The extended rounded rear of the 1750 Spider Veloce was restyled into a more conventional flattened rear (the so-called Coda Tronca). This improved the boot space. In 1971, the engine capacity was increased to 1962 cc and the name was changed to 2000 Spider Veloce. Four years later, this model was equipped with 2 extra seats, creating a 2+2 four-seater. More than 38,000 copies of the Alfa Romeo 2000 Spider Veloce were made.

The Alfa Romeo 2000 Spider Veloce at Classic Park is from 1981 and is a popular 2000 version with the elegant chrome bumpers. The car comes with many invoices and valuation reports from which it can be concluded that the Spider is a true enthusiast's car. The car was delivered new in the Netherlands in July 1981.
