The Rolls-Royce Silver Spur came onto the market in 1980 as the long wheelbase version of the Rolls-Royce Silver Spirit. The Silver Spur II was introduced in 1989 (model year 1990) and the Silver Spur III in model year 1994. Two years later came the last major model change which was not called Silver Spur IV but New Silver Spur.
The factory experimented with turbo technology as early as the 1970s and launched a car with a turbo for the first time in 1982. Initially, the turbo was only intended for the Bentley brand. Many years later, at the end of 1996, the factory introduced a Low Pressure Turbo (LPT). From that moment on, this was fitted as standard in the Rolls-Royce Silver Spur.

The New Silver Spur at Classic Park is the first Silver Spur delivered in the Netherlands with the Low Pressure Turbo. The LPT combines the power of a turbo with the flexibility of a car without a turbo. The LPT makes the Silver Spur a fast and agile car while retaining its stately character. At the same time as the LPT, the optional ETAS, the new traction control system, was introduced. This Silver Spur also has that novelty on board.

The paint color is the tasteful and quite rare Black Garnet Mica and the interior is finished in Sand, with Maroon (dark red) as a secondary color. In addition to the mentioned ETAS, a steering wheel in interior colors and upgraded stereo amplifiers are also specified as options. Furthermore, in 1997 importer Hessing from De Bilt installed a navigation system. Hessing registered the Silver Spur in the Netherlands in December 1996 and initially used the car for promotional purposes. The first admission and the first registration were only recorded in January 2000. All owners are known and documented. The maintenance booklet is also present, which shows that the car has always been well maintained.
