Despite the fact that the Peugeot 504 has been sold in large quantities, not many examples have been preserved in good condition. This 504 GL is such a rare good car. It was delivered new in France in April 1976 and has been in the Netherlands since 2006. In 2006 the car was repainted to a high standard in the original blue metallic colour. The interior has the original brown fabric upholstery with only minor signs of wear. The 1971 cc four-cylinder in-line engine of 96 hp/70 kW is connected to an automatic three-speed gearbox that drives the rear wheels. With the car comes maintenance documentation, as well as valuation reports, manuals, etc., from which it can be concluded very plausibly that the mileage of 84093 kilometers correct is. Original specifications include alloy wheels, metallic paint, power steering, power windows, "period-correct" air conditioning, a tow bar, Hella fog lamps and tinted glass. The Pioneer radio is a later added accessory.
