This Mini Cooper was sold new in Monaco to the famous John Coombs, owner of Coombs Garage and one of the most important persons in British motorsport during the fifties and sixties. Mr. Coombs retired in the late eighties, sold his dealerships and moved to Monte Carlo where he used this little Mini as his everyday car. The Mini was kept in perfect condition, and when Mr. Coombs died in 2013 the car was sold to a German banker who made some improvements on the Mini. It comes with a beautiful "classic" dashboard finished in Piano Black veneer, and an electrical Webasto sunroof. The car is never restored and still in its first paint. The mileage of 27.140 km from new is correct, and there is a good documentation file with the Mini containing many invoices and a copy of the Monaco registration in John Coombs' name. It is in immaculate condition and a real pleasure to drive.
