The Porsche 356 B T6 is the final and most highly developed version of the 356 B, produced during the 1962 and 1963 model years. This example is confirmed as a T6 version by the two ventilation grilles in the engine lid (the earlier T5 had only one), the external fuel filler flap located in the right front wing, and the enlarged front luggage compartment.

Between 2009 and 2010, the car underwent a complete professional restoration. A comprehensive photographic record of the restoration, together with all invoices, is included in the documentation. During the restoration, the car was refinished in an original Porsche 356 colour using modern two-component paint. This Porsche 356 B was originally delivered with engine type 616/15, meaning it produced 75 hp instead of the standard 60 hp. It was later upgraded with an even more powerful engine featuring twin Weber carburettors and a 123 electronic ignition system, increasing the output to well over 100 hp. In addition, the car has been converted to a 12-volt electrical system, significantly improving everyday usability.

This Porsche 356 B T6 Coupé was originally delivered in the United States in September 1962. It was subsequently owned by a Belgian enthusiast who commissioned the restoration. Since January 2015, the car has been in the hands of its current owner and has been registered in the Netherlands as a historic vehicle.
