The Jaguar C-Type is one of the most legendary racing cars ever built, with two victories in the grueling 24 Hours of Le Mans, in 1951 and 1953. Only 53 examples of the C-Type were built by Jaguar. These originals are priceless and unattainable, making the model a perfect subject for the replica market.

This magnificent Jaguar C-Type replica was built by Heritage in the United Kingdom. Among builders of Jaguar C-Type replicas, Heritage is renowned for its high-quality craftsmanship and is officially authorized to use the Jaguar name and logo on its cars. This Heritage C-Type is based on the mechanical components of a Jaguar XJ6. The handcrafted spaceframe chassis is clad in glass fiber–reinforced composite body panels.

With a weight of just 1,100 kilograms and a 4.2-liter inline six-cylinder engine producing over 300 horsepower, the Heritage C-Type is a seriously fast sports car. This machine demands a highly skilled and experienced driver to manage its power and handling through corners and at high speeds, without the assistance of modern electronic safety aids. This car is SPECTACULAR and extremely desirable.

The Heritage C-Type features dark blue painted wire wheels, a blue mohair tonneau cover, a stainless-steel side exhaust, triple Weber carburetors with twin chokes, a Moto-Lita wooden-rim sports steering wheel, a Belmog digital rally trip meter, and a set of analog Sportex rally stopwatches.

This exceptional example has covered just 16,544 kilometers, is in very fine condition, and is supplied with Dutch registration. The Heritage C-Type is registered as a “Jaguar 2-8 XJ6 Sports” with a 1969 historic (classic car) registration. This is highly unusual, as it is no longer possible to obtain a historic registration for modern replicas today.
