The Mercedes-Benz R107 SL series was launched in 1971 and was produced until 1989. The model was so successful that no fewer than 237,000 units of the SL and SLC together were built. The Mercedes-Benz SL models were available in many different versions, with 6- and 8-cylinder engines. The basic version was the 280 SL, which had a smooth and reliable six-cylinder engine under the bonnet. In 1985 the 280 SL was succeeded by the 300 SL, which from then on was the basic version with the popular six-cylinder engine. The Mercedes-Benz 300 SL at Classic Park is from 1986 and is the facelift version with the 3-litre six-cylinder in-line engine. With its 188 hp of power and the famous six-cylinder smoothness, this is a wonderfully strolling car. The popular grey paint colour and the luxurious black leather interior are in very good condition.
The car was delivered new in Germany and is therefore a hard to find European version. Since 2003, the SL has a Dutch registration and has been cherished by only two owners. The car is equipped with attractive options such as electric windows and seats and seat heating. The whole is in very good condition.
