A 500 SEL from the W126 series was the top model of Mercedes-Benz in the early eighties. It is the to 5.14 meter extended version of the 500 SE. The car is powered by a 231 hp 4973 cc V8 engine coupled to an automatic gearbox. This 500 SEL was delivered new in Haarlem in January 1982 and has been maintained by Mercedes-Benz dealers ever since. The maintenance booklet contains no fewer than 17 stamps. The bodywork is free of rust and is in original condition. The paint color is Silberdistelgrün and the interior is covered with matching green leather. The extra accessories that have been added to this car include electrically adjustable mirrors, automatic air conditioning, heat-resistant glass, electrically adjustable seats, exit lights, rear reading lights, and a few more things. The whole is in very good condition.
