One of the very special cars in the Classic Park collection is the Bayliss Thomas. This car brand was founded by Excelsior Motor Co. Ltd. from England and was made in Tyseley near Birmingham. The company was mainly known for the production of motorcycles, but in the years 1922 to 1929 they also built cars. This charming Bayliss Thomas Tourer will always be a rare sight on Dutch roads.
The Bayliss Thomas Tourer at Classic Park was built in 1925 and sports a 1141 cc four-cylinder engine. This is a Meadows engine with overhead camshaft. The engine was restored two decades ago. The paintwork, the linen softtop, the bottom, the seats, everything is in good and immediately usable condition. The car comes with a lot of documentation, including various valuation reports and old brochure texts. Since 2010 the car has a Dutch registration.
