There is no doubt that this is a special car. Some call it a car with one front wheel, others call it a motorcycle with two rear wheels. Carver itself says: “This is not a scooter, car or motorcycle: it is the Carver.” It is important to know that the Carver can be driven by anyone with a driving license for a car. And special he is. Thanks to an ingenious tilting mechanism, you as a driver go through a bend as if you were riding a motorcycle. It remains a sensational feeling, no matter how much you have driven it. And for other road users it is spectacular to watch. With only 250 Carvers built, it will always be that way.
The Carver One was sold in the Netherlands between 2007 and 2010 and cost more than €45,000 in the basic version. With its 659 cc three-cylinder petrol engine with turbo, the rear-wheel drive Carver reaches a top speed of 185 km/h and can reach 100 km/h in 8.2 seconds. The average NEDC fuel consumption is only 5.8 liters per 100 km. With its length of 3.40 meters, width of 1.30 meters and height of 1.40 meters, it is very manoeuvrable and, thanks to the spectacular tilting mechanism, very stable in the bends.
This Carver with its striking orange color scheme was delivered new in the Netherlands and has had only one owner. It is absolutely accident-free and has a correct odometer reading.
The roof panel of the Carver can be removed, allowing it to be driven as a convertible. The original soft top is included with the Carver. The original (English) manual and a battery charger are also included. The Carver has recently received major maintenance. The detailed invoice of more than £ 5000 (converted approximately € 6000) is present with the vehicle.
One of only 250 examples - from first owner - recently had major maintenance - removable roof with soft top
