This Volkswagen T1 Samba is finished in the beautiful white-red color combo, which has been applied consistently and in the original Volkswagen scheme on both the outside and the inside. The car comes with an official "Zertifikat über den Auslieferingsstatus Ihres Volkswagen Kleinbus, Sondermodel Sambabus" issued by Volkswagen, confirming the original colors as "Tizianrot" and "Beigegrau". The car is equipped with artificial leather upholstery on the inside. This Sambabus was delivered new in December 1966 in St. Louis in the United States. Detailed specifications include six fold-out side windows. Later it was equipped with a roof rack that fits perfectly in the image of the era.
The car was partly restored in 2005, including an overhaul of the engine, the car was repainted and the chrome was improved. The Samba has been in the Netherlands since 2019 and has a Dutch registration. There, the entire upholstery of the interior was replaced. After that, the car received major maintenance, making the car technically suitable for long pleasure trips. All invoices and specifications of the Dutch work are present.
