This Ford Vedette was delivered new in 1951 in France. The first owner chose to have the car deliv-ered new with the optional Cotal electric gearbox with steering gear. In 1978, the Vedette changed hands and was completely body-off restored.
A later owner converted the car from a two-door sedan (“coach”) to a convertible. In addition, the car is equipped with sill strips. The olive green interior and the black linen, manually operated hood are in good condition.
The car comes with a small collection of historical documents, such as bills, an appraisal report, a page from an auction brochure and a printout of the original brochure.
