The Alpina B9 is based on the BMW 5-series E28, the 528i, but instead of the 2.8 liter from this 528i, the Alpina B9 has a 3.5 liter engine. Production of the Alpina B9 started in November 1981 and stopped in December 1987. In these years a total of 577 Alpina B9 3.5 liters were produced. This specimen was registered in Japan in November 1983. From the time the car was in Japan, several maintenance invoices are also present. After that, this car was imported to the Netherlands in 2017 and then prepared to register on a Dutch license plate. The European import duties have been paid, the car has not yet been registered in Europe.
This beautiful Alpina B9 comes with many luxuries such as electrically operated windows, but also with an electrically operated skylight. This Alpina B9 is also equipped with Recaro sports seats at the front, a leather steering wheel, a new gear lever and new counters in the dashboard. For stability at all speeds, Alpina has put a front and rear spoiler on it. This particular Alpina B9 also has the optional automatic transmission.
