The 'Bavarian Ferrari' is a compliment that this very German car, thanks to its almost un-German appearance, deserves. Although it is often assumed that the car actually was designed in an Italian design studio, it was the French top designer Paul Bracq who designed the so-called E24 in Munich. The E24 6-series is regarded worldwide as one of the most beautiful BMW models ever. Especially in recent years, interest in this model has increased sharply and well-preserved copies are being sold at increasing prices.
This 6-series was delivered new to a Swiss lady in Zurich, according to the carefully maintained service booklet. In 2003 this 635 CSI came to the Netherlands. The equipment is very complete with black leather, electric windows, central locking, on-board computer, original(!) 16 inch Alpina rims (wide set), automatic gearbox, etc.
The beautifully preserved car has very nice panel fittings and the chrome is in a very nice condition. The interior is completely original and very beautiful. In the proper maintained engine compartment you will find the original 6-cylinder in-line engine with 218 hp. Obviously well maintained. The inner fenders and bulkheads of E24s can be rusty, of course this is a nice, undamaged and rust-free copy. The trunk seems unused. Original upholstery present and clean. The tool set is not rusty and complete. The wanted Alpina rims are free from parking damage and brake dust.
If you are looking for a well equipped 635CSi in good condition, this is the car that suits you.
