The Toyota MR2 is a compact two-person sports car with a four-cylinder mid-engine. The MR2 offered by Classic Park is a pre-facelift second series 2.0 GTi. This version is not yet equipped with power steering and ABS, and still has the 14-inch wheels. Consequently, the purest version! This MR2 was built in 1991 and is the top version that sports the powerful 2.0 liter four-cylinder injection engine with 156 hp of power. It sprints to 100 km/h within 8 seconds and can reach a top speed of 220 km/h. The position of the mid-engine, the rear-wheel drive and the relatively low weight make the MR2 a dynamic sports car with excellent handling. Unlike many spartan sports cars, the MR2 has a luxurious and fully equipped interior, composed of quality materials. The car is also fitted with two sunroofs that can be easily removed and stored in specially designed and supplied leather covers. This creates a convertible-coupé configuration with a 'T-bar' above the cabin that ensures good vehicle and torsional strength.
All in all, this beautiful, original Dutch MR2 with only 56472 km on the odometer is a very reliable fun car of Toyota quality.
