This Mercedes-Benz 560 SL is finished in the attractive color combination dark blue (Dunkel Blau 904) with a beige leather interior. The manually operated soft top is finished in dark blue and is in mint condition. For the colder months, a separate hardtop is included that makes the SL suitable for daily use throughout the year. The car is equipped with the original, chic SL rims. The two-seater configuration offers a beautifully finished storage space behind the front seats. The SL also has a relatively large and usable trunk space, making the car very suitable for picnic trips, pleasure rides or transport to the golf course.
The leather interior is in very good condition with only light patina. Some dashboard panels are fin-ished with wood veneer that shows some signs of age. This is not disturbing, it actually contributes to the original, unrestored character of this car. Naturally, this top model sports electric windows and mirrors. Furthermore, this SL was delivered new with an automatic climate control (the air con-ditioning does not work), a Becker Grand Prix radio with cassette player and with deletion of the rear spoiler.
This 560 SL is originally an American car that received its first maintenance stamps in Massachusetts. The last owner is from Germany.
