The 1958 model year Oldsmobile Dynamic 88 offers a unique blend of a four-door sedan and a sporty, dynamic gentlemen's coupe. With wide benches in both the front and rear, the car offers space for at least six adults. The car was delivered new in the United States and has been in the Netherlands since 1997 where it has had two owners.
In the past this Oldsmobile has been partly restored. It was repainted in the colors Diamont BLVC218 (the main color), Mercedes white (the roof and the fender surfaces) and UNO HD 480 2389A (dashboard and interior). In 2005 the engine and the automatic gearbox were completely overhauled. Furthermore various technical improvements were made, such as new shock absorb-ers and a new exhaust system. This Dynamic 88 is both technically and cosmetically a good example. The car comes with various maintenance documents, as well as some valuation reports, model drawings, a thick workshop manual in which all technical systems and components are explained (hundreds of pages thick) and some old magazines.
