The 1981 Tomaso Deauville offered by Classic Park is an old acquaintance of ours. The car was delivered new in the Netherlands and still has the original interior. The current owner has made some minor technical and optical adjustments; documentation of this is available. The Tomaso Deauville is in good condition and roadworthy.
In 1970 the De Tomaso Deauville was presented to the public during the motorshow of Turin, this became the luxurious sedan which competed to the Jaguar XJ. The manufacturing took place at the factory in Modena. The, for back than, very luxurious car, DeTomaso Deauville has a 5.7 Cleveland V8 from Ford and also a Ford C6 automatic gearbox. This is one of only 244 De Tomaso Deauville's.
This De Tomaso was registered on Dutch license plates on the 4th of August 1981 and was new delivered by Hessing. This particular Deauville is a late model, a series 2. Which means that this Deauville has a bigger front bumper compared to an early model and there were also some improvements in the interior.
