The thought behind the Ferrari One-to-One (OTO) is fairly simple: Ferrari delivers the car and at an additional cost it will be made to measure. Customers were even flown in to the Maranello factory to make their own choice from the colour scheme, the leather varieties and the technological options. In the case of this Ferrari 612 Scaglietti the result can best be described as ‘sophisticated’, with its very chic dark ‘Blu Scozia’ colour, the black leather interior with diamond-shaped stitching and the beautiful 20-inch BBS ‘Challenge’-wheels. Introduced in 2008, the OTO versions were equipped with an improved F1 transmission and a ‘Manettino’ on the steering wheel. Furthermore, this specific Ferrari, which has only 10,000km on the odometer, features a Bose audio system and ceramic brakes. Ever since the 1960s 330GT there has been a Gran Turismo in the Ferrari range, a sports car that is comfortable enough for driving long distances. Rest assured that the 539hp 5.8 litre V12 is able to provide enough power for the ‘sports’ part. Nevertheless, taking the family for a long trip down south is not a problem either. South, by the way, is where the car comes from: it is Spanish registered.
