This Morgan Aero 8 was made in 2007 and was first delivered in The Netherlands. Here it has had two owners. The current owner used the car regularly and maintained the car with great care. Everything about this car shows the great love and care that was put into it. That is why this car is in great cosmetic and technical condition.

The current odometer reading was 125.000 kilometres and the car is finished in Jaguar Gun Metal Grey with a cognac brown interior. The car is also fitted with a custom-made exhaust system. This exhaust system produces a great noise under acceleration, but is very calm at cruise speed. In short a very cared for Morgan in great condition.

The Morgan Aero 8 was introduced in 2001 as the first completely new Morgan design since the +4+ from 1964. Underneath it also showed many new development. The traditional wooden tubed aluminium skinned steel chassis was replaced by a brand new fully aluminium chassis which was much stiffer. So stiff in fact that Morgan decided it did not need anti-roll bars, which is very unconventional for a sportscar. The suspension was fully independent with Eibach coils over Koni shocks. The brakes were cast iron with 6-pot calipers at the front and 2-pot calipers at the rear.
The powertrain came from BMW with a 4.4L V8 which was mated to a 6-speed Getrag gearbox. The engine was also fitted very successfully to the BMW E39 540i, the E38 740i, the X5 4.4i and the Range Rover. In the Aero 8 the engine developed 334 BHP and 450 Nm which meant it had a top speed of 270 KPH (170 MPH) and a 0-100 KPH (0-62 MPH) time of 4.3 seconds. In 2001 this meant you could give most high-performance cars a really difficult time.
In motorsport the Aero 8 also showed its capability. In 2002 and 2004 the Aero 8 entered the 24 Hours of Le Mans as well as the 24 Hours of Bathurst in 2003 and the 12 Hours of Sebring in 2004.
