This 997.2 Carrera 4S Convertible, as offered by Classic Park, was produced in 2010. The car was originally delivered in Italy on the 10th of March 2011 and has only had 1 owner.
It only has 53.200 km on the odometer and is in great condition.
This Porsche was delivered by Porsche Center Salerno (IT) and always received proper maintanence there, as the maintanence logs show.

The car is finished in C9Z Basalt Black Metallic with a sandbeige interior with Porsche crests in the headrests.
It is also very well equipped with a PCM navigation system, Sport Chrono Plus, the famous PDK gearbox, 12-way adjustable front seats with 3 memory settings for the driver, cruise control, PDLS (Bi-Xenon with cornering lights) and parking sensors.

The car comes with an Italian registration.

In 2004 the 997 was presented as the successor for the 996. As with the 987 Boxster/Cayman the styling was much more conservative than its predecessor. The headlights and bodyshape were more reminiscent to those of the older 911's, pleasing the Porsche purists. So much in fact that 100.000 997's were sold between 2005 and July of 2007, making it the most succesful 911 of all time.

Technically the 997 Carrera S and 4S received a bigger 3.8L flat-six engine. Like the 993 and the 996, the 997 was available as a coupe, convertible and as a Targa with a retractable glass roof. The biggest difference with the 996 was that the Targa was only available as a fourwheeldrive Carrera 4 or Carrera 4S. In 2006 the new Turbo was introduced. Like the 996 Turbo it had a Mezger engine, but now it was producing 480 BHP. The 997 Turbo was the first 911 with variable geometry turbo's, decreasing turbolag.

In 2008 the 997 received a facelift. These versions were known as the 997.2. The ex- and interior of the car were rejuvenated, the engines were fitted with direct-injection increasing the performance and the PDK double clutch gearbox was introduced in the 911-range. The Turbo received different wheels and for the first time shift paddles were introduced as a replacement for the outdated buttons on the steeringwheel.

The Carrera 4S was the fourwheeldrive version of the Carrera S. The fourwheeldrive models are easily recognisable by the distrinct reflective strip between the rear lights. It was the most powerful fourwheeldrive version of the 911 with 380 BHP, until the 4 GTS was introduced in the last year of 997. The 4 GTS produced 28 BHP more, bringing the total to 408 BHP and was fitted as standard with centerlock wheels.
