Offered by Classic Park is this beautiful body-off restored MGA 1600 Mk I from 1960. The car was imported into The Netherlands from the US in 1990. In 2008 the car was completely body-off restored and many modifications were made to increase drivability and make it more fun. The car was then repainted in Chariot Red. The underside was completly coated in black anti-corrosion paint and the interior was overhauled with more isolation materials and black carpets with red accents.

The seats were refilled with self-healing foam and then reupholstered in black leather with red piping. A wooden sports steeringwheel and a chrome dashboardedge were fitted. The convertible softtop was fitted with special isolation and sounddeadning foam which were finished in leather with red stitching. The roof was very well maintained and still in very good condition. Multiple 12V sockets were fitted underneath the dashboard during the restoration to power a navigationsystem, phone charger or a map readinglight. All the wiring was fused underneath the dashboard and a ground switch was fitted underneath the passenger seat.

Mechanically many things were improved by adding PU suspension elements, adjustable Spax shock on the rear axle, an oilcooler and brake booster behind the grill, an expansion tank was added to create a closed coolingsystem and a stainless steel exhaust. Cosmetically polished valve covers and carburetor pots were added.

De car is delivered with the original aluminium/plastic sliding windows with covers and a touneau cover with zipper (long model) in black leather with red stitching to match the rest of the interior. The restoration is very extensively documented and this will all be delivered with the car.
