Drawn by Pininfarina and slightly modified by Daninos from Facel, who also built the Sport Coupé in his Facel factory, this is a beautiful car to see! Facel was not the cheapest factory, the quality of their products was high, the price accordingly. The Simca 9 Sport by Facel was more expensive to purchase than a Porsche 356.
Our beautiful Simca 9 Sport Coupé is from 1953 and performed in yellow with a green roof. This special French classic car with a partly aluminium body stood still from 1984, before in 2001 started the complete restoration. During this restoration that lasted 8 years in total, much attention was paid to every detail. The fits of the sheet metal, the paintwork, chrome and the interior are very neat. The interior of the Simca 9 Sport has many authentic details such as the characteric steering wheel, painted dashboard and three-dimensional Jaeger counters and the chrome accents. After the restoration, this Simca won various jury and public prizes at various competitions and oldtimer events. The Simca 9 Sport is equipped with a 1.221 cc 4-cylinder engine that delivers 51hp and a manual gearbox with 4 gears. The luxurious seating position and lively engine make this 65-year-old classic a pleasure to ride.
