The Day-Elder WTU B / M 24 S 8 offered by Classic Park was built in the year 1916. It is a very unique car. As far as known, it is the only truck of this brand in all of Western Europe. It is also one of the first examples, because the company was only founded in 1916. The car has been completely restored and is in good condition.
Day-Elder (D-E) started in 1916 with the production of light trucks. The company built the bodywork and the flat freight containers, while an engine block, transmission and rear axles were purchased elsewhere. The company headed by Charles P. Day (president) and Fred C. Elder (financial director) was based in Newark (New Yersey). The cars were marketed as 'light farmer trucks'. Day-Elder closed its doors in 1937.
