The Jaguar XK150 was undoubtedly one of the best sports cars in the fifties. A little bigger than its predecessors, the XK120 and XK140, offered more car interior space and a better and more comfortable sitting position. The large 3.4 liter six-cylinder line engine is powerful, the XK 150 is even a smooth car in today's traffic. It must have been a sensation in the fifties.
This Jaguar XK150 is unique in terms of condition! Finding a car in such a beautiful original condition is very rare and we were immediately charmed by this incredibly beautiful patinated car. A non-restored Jaguar XK 150 drop head coupe, fully matching numbers and colors (engine, body, gearbox, ex- and interior color) and optionally fitted with overdrive.
The body and chassis are in magnificent condition, the old and largely original paintwork is nicely patinated. The XK150 still features its beautifully patinated first leather interior and the original dashboard upholstery!
Recently, more than € 12,500 has been invested. For example, the engine and the brakes have been serviced. To improve road positioning, new "Competition" spoke wheels (72 spikes) are mounted with Avon Turbosteel tires. Of course, the original wheels come with the car.
The car was used in 2017 for multiple rallies and longer trips like Goodwood Revival.
The history is partly documented and the original instruction book is present as well as recent invoices regarding extensive mechanical maintenance.
On the road, this XK is sensational, the sports car is fast and easy to drive, but the most extraordinary is its unbeatable straight-out-of-the-barn look.
The classic car enthusiastic immediately sees that this Jaguar is a class apart. We hope the XK will remain in this unrestricted and patinated state.
If you love original classic Jaguars then it will be difficult to find a better one than ours. The most beautiful thing is that the XK still feels, smells and drives like an original car, something that can never be achieved with a restored classic car. This XK150 has to be seen and driven to fully understand its opportunity.
Original cars are incredibly scarce and it is important that these rare machines remain. Are you ready to become the new owner as well as heritage custodian of this XK150?
