When the current Dutch owner asked us if we were interested in a beautiful Jaguar MK II 3.8 year 1961 we did not say no. But we wanted to see the car first. That is possible, he reported. But can not today because the car is at my country house in Malaga, Spain. But I do drive him from Malaga to Boxtel. A few days later the car was in our museum! Needless to say that this MK II starts and drives well. From the owner we got some history, which starts in 2003 when the car gets a Spanish registration. The car still has a Spanish registration.
The body of the car is rustfree and in very good condition as well as the chrome work. The car is free of scratches or other damages. The red leather interior is beautiful, the woodwork is fantastic. At a glance you can see that the car is always well polished. When the car was on the lift we noted that the next owner may give some attention to the underneath of the car, there are some corrosion marks visible. From the documents submitted we can read that in recent years the car is seldom used, the counter now shows a mileage of 4519 miles.
Who wants to drive an iconic Jaguar MK II 3.8 will have a difficult job to find a better car than this car!
